Chevy Painting

So I've been to lazy to take a picture but I did finish that painting of Chevy that sunday after i posted the in progress pictures. Im in love with the way it came out. It's not exact however, its more of a stylized copy. I painted it on an 8x10 canvas board. I'm thinking about getting a few prints made of it. I think it turned out well and someone in the reptile hobby might enjoy a piece like this as much as I do. The question then remains...if I do decide to get prints, where do I have them done?! lol.

At any rate, when you click on the pic it will open in a new window so it will be full size then. If you have anything you'd like to say- and I mean anything- please post it in a comment below! Thank you!

It's been awhile.

So I haven't posted on this blog in a super long time and I regret it, however I haven't been able to anything art and crafty lately. School is finishing up and papers are due. VITA is finally over so my tue and thur are freed up now. And now we have this much needed extended weeked. Thank goodness for Easter Break and private schools!!!

At any rate here is an in progress painting of Chevy our leopard gecko that I am working on. Loving the way it turned out so far. Hopefully I can keep the awesomeness up. The purple on him photographed far more vividly than it actually looks in person. :-?

So I made some cool new necklaces lately. All three of them are for sale and if you wish to purchase one from me, please email me at iworethecrown@yahoo.com. I will accept only Paypal and I will only ship within the contiguous United States or the lower 48. Email me or leave a comment if you have any questions as well. Please NO SPAM, thank you.

Necklace & Earring Set #1, Unnamed.

This is a gorgeous necklace and earring set. The necklace is 22 inches long and made of a hammered chain, shell beads that are a coffee color with mother-of-pearl flecks and glass pearls. Each shell bead is 3/4 of an inch in diameter. I used larger pearl beads on the necklace and smaller ones on the earring set. The earrings are a fishhook style and the necklace has a eyelet clasp. Shipped to your door in a precious gift box, this set only costs $25.00

 Earring & Necklace #2, Unnamed

Another beautiful set. This one features real jade beads for a majority of the 18 inch necklace. The pendant hangs down 1 1/2 inches from the necklace. The earrings are 2 3/4 inches long and made of the same matching jade beads used in the necklace. Shipped to your door, this set only costs $20.00!!!

Earring &Necklace Set #3

I really love this set with a black turtleneck, it really makes the necklace pop. The silver pendants are gorgeous and they are topped with with austrian crystal beads in dark blue, two shades of purple, clear, and black. The piece is then topped with a shell bead that is gray in color. Each pendant hangs two to three inches and the necklace is approximately 20 inches long, but it includes a chain extender that is about 2 inches long. Shipped to your door in a lovely gift box, this set will only cost $20.00!

Please let me know if you are interested in any of these wonderful pieces.

Starting

Since I like blogging about my reptiles so much I wanted to start one about another passion of mine. I really like making jewelry but I go through spurts. Sometimes all I want to do is scrapbook, sometimes paint, and sometimes make jewelry. Right now I am in a jewelry kick, but I just re-organized my scrapbooking stuff and now I feel like doing that. Haha.

I think I'd like to sell some of my creations as well. I always want more and I always want to make more, even if I have to much already. It would be nice to sell some of what I make. So, for future reference, almost everything will be available for sale! I only can accept payments through Paypal however. So look forward to posts about what I made and what I'm willing to part with.
